Jordan Caskey was named assistant sports information director at Furman in 2006. He coordinates publicity efforts for men's and women's soccer, men's basketball, and softball.
Caskey is a graduate of Greenville's Eastside High School. He attended Anderson University, where he worked as a student assistant SID for four years before earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications in 2001.
Following graduation, he interned for one year at the College of Charleston, where he served as the primary contact for the Cougar soccer, swimming, and tennis programs. He joined the Furman staff in 2002, and for four years served as the primary media contact for soccer, cross country/track & field, softball, and men's basketball.
Caskey's strong ties to Furman include his parents, Susan `77 and Gerald Caskey `76, both Furman graduates, a brother Jonathan `03, and grandfather, Eldredge Caskey `37, a former university trustee who served as school business manager and treasurer at the time of the university's move from downtown Greenville to its current location.
Jordan and his wife, Beth, formerly of Wallingford, Connecticut, have two sons, William and Jay.
