James Finnen, ATC, SCAT, received his Bachelor degree from Appalachian State University in Exercise Science: Athletic Training with a minor in Psychology in 2012. He did his graduate work at Marshall University and completed his Graduate Assistant residency from College of Charleston in 2017. Before returning to Furman as a full-time staff member, Finnen was a Sports Medicine Fellow in Furman’s Fellowship Program from 2013-2014.
Finnen has experience in the care of a wide range of collegiate level sports as well as aquatic therapy in a clinical setting. He holds credentialing as a Graston manual therapy technique provider. His responsibilities include the care of the men’s soccer and women’s softball teams.
