Phil Gregory, DPT, OCS, CSCS, serves as the Clinical Education Coordinator for Furman's affiliation education programs.
Before coming to Furman in 2013, he was a member of the sports medicine team at McLeod Sports Medicine for five years, as well as a clinical fitness specialist with McLeod Health & Fitness in Florence, SC.
Gregory possesses extensive experience in the biomechanical analysis of functional movement and running. His areas of clinical interests are the treatment of orthopedic injuries, spinal dysfunction, sport injury rehabilitation and the evaluation and fabrication of custom orthotics. Gregory's background and experience are in the evaluation and design of highly effective treatment plans addressing the challenges of returning high level endurance athletes to competition.
Gregory received his Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech University in 2006. He completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2009. Gregory has also achieved advanced credentials as a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
