Freshman Year (2017-18):  Honored as the 2017 SoCon Cross Country Freshman of the Year after placing eighth with a time of 24:25.2 at the league championship meet…named to the SoCon All-Freshman team after placing fifth with a time of 8:19.55 in the 3,000m and third in the 5,000m with a time of 14:30.12 at the SoCon Indoor Championships…also named to the All-SoCon second team and the SoCon All-Freshman team for cross country…finished eighth in the 3,000m (8:14.13) at the Vanderbilt Indoor Invitational…turned in a second-place finish with a time of 25:07.3 at the Eye Opener Cross Country meet…competed at the NCAA Cross Country Championships.

Concluded  his prep career with a national championship in the two mile event at the 2017 New Balance National Track and Field Championships...one of the top recruits in Texas...finished third at the UIL Texas State Cross Country Championships, third at the NXN National Southeast Regional Championships, and tenth at the NXN National Championships as a senior....posted a third-place finish in the 3,200m at the UIL Texas State Track and Field Championships...ran 14:29.44 at the Texas Distance Festival, which boasted one of the deepest high school 5K fields in the nation...a two-time NXN national qualifier with personal bests of 4:15.54 in the 1,600m and 8:54.21 in the 3,200m...also a two-time NXN cross country national qualifier.
