Williams, a 5-foot-11, 208-pound Prattville, Ala., native led FCS in kickoff returns in 2012, averaging 35.9 yards per attempt, and also recorded his second consecutive 1,000-yard rushing campaign, running for 1,170 yards and 11 touchdowns to complete his career with 3,097 yards, good for fifth-best in program history.  He rushed for 29 touchdowns and scored 198 points to rank fifth all-time at Furman.

Included in his senior season's work was a career high 239-yard rushing performance in a 45-24 win over Western Carolina — part of a school single game record 370 all-purpose yards that also featured a 100-yard kickoff return.  He added another 100-yard kickoff return against Appalachian State.

Williams garnered FCS All-America honors as a return specialist from the Sports Network and Walter Camp Foundation, and was accorded FCS Kickoff Returner Award by the College Football Performance Awards (CFPA).  In addition, he landed consensus All-Southern Conference recognition as both a return specialists and running back in balloting by league coaches and media.

He was also recently named a National Strength and Conditioning All-American.

Anderson was a two-time first team All-SoCon selection who was also accorded All-America honors by the Walter Camp Foundation, Sports Network, and College Sporting News in 2011.  In addition he was presented the CFPA Tight End Award his junior year.

The signing of Williams and Anderson gives Furman three players with the Vikings, including 2013 All-Pro fullback Jerome Felton (2004-07).

Seven Furman players have signed NFL free agent contracts over the last two seasons.
