GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman football's Aug. 31 season opening game at Gardner-Webb and Sept. 7 contest at Coastal Carolina will be televised by WMYA "My40," it has been announced.  Kickoff for both contests is set for 6:00 p.m.

My40 serves the Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, and Asheville markets.

Calling the play-by-play will be Chuck Hussion, and former Paladins Corey Stewart and David Cobb will serve as color commentary and sideline reporter, respectively.

The addition to the Gardner-Webb and Coastal Carolina games to the television schedule gives Furman four football broadcasts in 2013, including ESPN3 appearances against both Elon (Oct. 5) and Chattanooga (Oct. 12).

Furman returns 15 starters off last years' squad, including preseason All-America offensive tackle Dakota Dozier.
