2013 — First team All-Southern Conference honors in balloting by league media...totaled a team leading 136 tackles in his first season as a starter...ranked first in the league in tackles and second in tackles/game (9.7)...got the nod in at strong side linebacker in all 14 games....helped lead Furman to an 8-6 record, SoCon championship, and NCAA FCS playoff appearance...team finished ranked 21st in final FCS Coaches Poll...tallied eight tackles for-loss and two sacks...also added two fumble recoveries and an interception...registered seven double-digit tackle performances, including a season high 16-tackle outing against Chattanooga...effort versus UTC also included two sacks...credited with 12 stops against Wofford (27-14 win) that clinched Furman’s league best 13th SoCon crown...had a four-yard interception return versus 13th-ranked LSU...named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll.
