GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Furman men's tennis team will entertain the Appalachian State Mountaineers Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Mickel Tennis Center in Greenville, S.C.
Wednesday's match marks the 47th meeting between the two schools. The Paladins lead the all-time series, 40-5-1, after the teams tied, 3-3, in Boone last season.
Furman (5-12, 2-4 SoCon) defeated Chattanooga last Friday, 6-1, then topped The Citadel, 7-0 Saturday in Charleston.
Appalachian State comes to Greenville with a 4-11 overall record and 2-4 league mark. The Mountaineers fell to #74 Samford, 4-3, Saturday.
Furman has been very successful on its home court. Over the past eleven seasons the Paladins have lost only 20 matches on their home court, posting an impressive record of 88-20 since 2002.
The Paladins continue their home stand on Sunday, when Furman entertains Samford at 11 a.m.
