GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Furman men's tennis team plays host to Southern Conference leader Samford Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Mickel Tennis Center.
The match marks the eighth meeting between the two schools. The Bulldogs won last season's match, 5-2, in Samford. Furman leads the all-time series, 4-3.
Furman enters Sunday's match with a 6-12 overall record and 3-4 Southern Conference mark. The Paladins defeated Appalachian State, 5-2, on Wednesday.
Samford will play at Wofford on Saturday before coming to Greenville on Sunday. The Bulldogs enter the match in Spartanburg with a 10-7 overall mark and 5-1 league record after defeating Chattanooga 7-0 on Wednesday. The Bulldogs lone league loss was a 5-2 decision versus Elon.
