    The Furman women’s athletic programs have won the race for the Southern Conference’s all-sport trophy, while the Paladin men took second place, the highest cumulative finish in the history of the Paladin athletic programs. The Germann Cup and Commissioner’s Cup are awarded annually to the Southern Conference schools fielding the league’s best all-around women’s and men’s sports programs, respectively.

    Junior Adam Steryous and sophomore Cameron Green were named to the All-Southern Conference first team for singles, while Green and freshman Alex Steryous garnered second-team accolades for doubles, and Josh Pistorius was chosen to the SoCon All-Freshman team, as announced today by the league office. Postseason balloting was conducted by the league’s head coaches, who were not allowed to vote for their own student-athletes.
