GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Furman men's tennis team will travel to Charleston Wednesday to take on College of Charleston.  First serve is set for 3 p.m.

Furman holds an 11-4 overall record and 4-1 SoCon mark after defeating Chattanooga, 5-2, last weekend.  Paladin sophomore Ivan Mitric is ranked 120th nationally according to the latest 2019 Oracle/ITA Division I men's singles poll, which was released two weeks ago by the organization.

Sophomore Drew Singerman is an undefeated 12-0 in singles action, while junior Jake Bhangdia is 11-4 overall and 10-3 at flight four.  Junior Jake Munns holds a 9-3 overall singles record. Mitric and Munns have combined for an 8-2 record at flight one doubles, while Bhangdia & junior Clarke Wilson are 8-2 at flight two, and sophomores Henrik Atlevi and Singerman are 8-1 at number three doubles.

Wednesday's match marks the 41st meeting between the two programs.  The Paladins defeated the Cougars, 6-1, last season in Greenville to take a 29-11 series lead.  College of Charleston is 17-3 overall after losing to Elon, 6-1, then defeating Drexel, 5-2, earlier this week in Charleston.
