"I'm really proud of the girls, because they hung in there and competed and shot some good scores despite the fact that several were sick or battling injuries," said Furman head coach Kelley Hester. "Overall, there was a lot more good than bad in this tournament, and if we were healthy the outcome might have been a little different. We will regroup, hopefully everyone can get some rest and get well, and we will be ready to play again in a couple of weeks."
Furman will compete at the M&F Bank Rebel Intercollegiate in Oxford, Miss., April 3-5.
