Srinivasan Ties For 16th To Pace Paladins At Darius Rucker Intercollegiate

HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- Junior Natalie Srinivasan (+5) carded a final round one-under 70 to tie for 16th to pace the No. 20 Furman women's golf team (+20) Sunday at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate at the par 71, 6,160 yard Pete Dye Course of the Long Cove Club in Hilton Head Island, S.C.

A native of Spartanburg, S.C., Srinivasan made the turn at two over and birdied three out of four holes from No. 13 through No. 16, including consecutive birdies on No. 13 and No. 14 to finish the day at one under.  

Senior Haylee Harford (+6) tied for 22nd after scoring a 78 with a birdie on No. 4 on Sunday, and sophomore Madison Moosa (+12) added a 79 in the final round to tie for 46th.  Senior Jacqueline Bendrick, who scored a 77 with a birdie on No. 15 on Sunday, tied for 53rd, and sophomore Caitlin Cotterill tied for 75th with a final-round 79.  Cotterill notched birdies on No. 13 and No. 18 to close out the tournament. 

Florida State's Frida Kinhult (-9), who ranks fourth nationally, won the tournament with a three-round total of 68-68-68=204.

No. 19 Florida State (-2) won the tournament by 17 strokes.  Tenth-ranked South Carolina (+15) and No. 13 Wake Forest (+15) tied for second, and third-ranked Duke (+17) took fourth place.  No. 11 Auburn (+30) and seventh-ranked Vanderbilt (+30) tied for fifth.  Sixth-ranked Arkansas (+34) placed seventh, followed by Furman (+35) and fourth-ranked UCLA (+34) in a tie for eighth.

Furman will compete at the Briar's Creek Invitational in Charleston, S.C., March 18-19.
