    Greenville, S.C. – Behind a 14-1 first half, Furman downed Delaware State, 19-1, on Thursday evening inside Paladin Stadium. The win moves Furman to 8-7 on the year, 3-1 in SoCon play, while the loss drops the Hornets to 1-9, 0-3 in SoCon play. 
  • Women’s Lacrosse Plays Host to Delaware State, Howard for Senior Weekend

    Greenville, S.C. – Furman women’s lacrosse returns to Paladin Stadium this week, welcoming Delaware State and Howard for a Thursday/Saturday senior weekend matchup. The Paladins and Hornets will face off on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. in a SoCon contest, before the Bison come to Paladin Stadium for an 11:00 a.m. nonconference Senior Day contest. Both matches are set to be streamed on ESPN+.

    Mount Pleasant, Mich. – Behind five first-half goals, Furman downed Central Michigan, 8-6, on Sunday morning despite snow and sleet. The win moves the Paladins to 7-7 on the year, 2-1 in SoCon play, while the loss drops the Chippewas to 6-8, 2-2 in SoCon play.
  • Women’s Lacrosse Falls to Detroit Mercy on Friday

    Detroit, Mich. – Five points each from Kamryn Corraro (five goals) and Kaitlyn Wandelt (three goals, two assists) Detroit Mercy held off a late Paladin rally and downed Furman, 14-12, on Friday afternoon in Detroit, Mich. The win moves the Titans to 6-7, 2-1 SoCon on the year, while the loss drops the Paladins to 6-7, 1-1 SoCon.

  • Baker Named SoCon Women’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week

    Greenville, S.C. – Courtney Baker has been named the SoCon Women’s Lacrosse Player of the Week, for games April 5-7, it was announced on Tuesday. Voting was conducted by the league office. The selection was Baker’s second of her career and the Paladins’ second Player of the Week honoree of 2019.

    Greenville, S.C. – Behind five points from Sophie Brennan (three goals, two assists) and four assists from Abby Shields, Furman downed Mercer, 15-13, on Sunday afternoon. The win moves the Paladins to 6-6 on the year, 1-0 in SoCon play, while the loss drops the Bears to 6-7, 3-1 in SoCon play.

  • Women’s Lacrosse Plays Host to Kennesaw State, Mercer This Weekend

    Greenville, S.C. – Furman women’s lacrosse returns to Greenville this weekend, welcoming Kennesaw State to Paladin Stadium for a 6:00 p.m. Friday contest before taking on Mercer on Sunday at 12:00 p.m. in the Paladins’ 2019 SoCon opener. Both games are set to be streamed on ESPN+. Friday’s game features free pizza for fans, as well as a koozie giveaway, while Sunday’s contest is Fan Appreciation Day, with chances to win a Roku and Amazon Fire.
