Greenville, S.C. – The Furman women's soccer team will look to continue its success at home when it welcomes the College of Charleston Cougars to Seagraves Field at Stone Stadium for a 7 p.m. kickoff on Thursday.
The Paladins, 4-2-0 on the season following a 1-0 loss at SEC foe Kentucky on Sunday afternoon, are 3-1 at home this season and 10-1-0 in their last 11 matches at Stone Stadium.
Thursday's match will mark the 24th encounter between the Paladins and Cougars with Furman holding a 16-2-5 series lead. The teams have not met since they were Southern Conference rivals in 2012 with Furman claiming a 2-1 victory.
Charleston, now a member of the CAA, sports a 5-3-0 record and is riding a three-game winning streak, during which the Cougars have outscored their opponents by a combined 8-1 margin.
Tickets for Thursday's contest are $5 and can be purchased online at FurmanPaladins.com or at the Stone Stadium entrance beginning one hour prior to kickoff.
