Aryn Greene Career Records

Junior Year (2016-17):  Greene was honored as a member of the All-Southern Conference first team for doubles after posting a 20-6 overall record and an unblemished 7-0 SoCon mark.  She teamed with Ansley Speaks at flight one, putting together a 13-match winning streak that began with a 6-3 victory over USC Upstate on Feb. 25 and continued through the end of the regular season when the Paladin duo beat Western Carolina, 6-4.  In singles play, Greene was 9-10 overall and 2-0 in league play, playing mostly at flights five and six.  After scoring early-season victories over Coastal Carolina, Troy, and Brenau, Greene won five-straight matches to close out the regular season then beat Western Carolina, 6-2, 6-2 in the opening match of Southern Conference tournament play. 

Prep/Personal:  A product of Mount Pisgah Christian School, Aryn Greene competed at flight six singles and flight three doubles at Alabama during her freshman and sophomore seasons.  She concluded her freshman campaign with a 5-5 singles record and 10-4 doubles mark.  An ITA Scholar Athlete, she was a five-star recruit by and was ranked fifth in Georgia and 40th nationally in her recruiting class.  Aryn Monroe Greene was born on February 7, 1996, in Augusta, Ga.  She is the daughter of Todd and Vanessa Greene.  Her father played baseball at Georgia Southern and went on to register a 12-year career in the major leagues.  She is majoring in health sciences.
