Paladins Run At Camel City Elite Races

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Seniors Aaron Templeton and Ryan Adams recorded top-10 finishes to pace the Paladin indoor track and field team Saturday in the final day of the Camel City Elite Races at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Templeton, who was running unattached, finished ninth with a time of 8:04.69 in the men's 3,000m presented by Salem Sports, and Adams crossed the line in 4:14.92 in the men's mile presented by Mondo, taking tenth place.

Also in the men's 3,000m, senior Frank Lara finished 13th at 8:21.67.

On the women's side, juniors Savannah Carnahan and Emma Grace Hurley ran in the women's 3,000m presented by Visit Winston-Salem.  Carnahan placed 11th at 9:24.74, and Hurley was 15th with a time of 9:46.94.

The Paladins will compete at the Iowa State Invitational in Ames, Iowa, and at the Samford Invitational in Birmingham, Ala., next weekend.
