Greenville, S.C. – The Furman men's basketball team, fresh off of a 62-58 victory versus Columbia University in New York City on Monday, returns home to host Atlantic Sun Conference foe Mercer on Thursday evening. Tip-off for the Mercer game, the second half of a doubleheader with the Furman women's team, will take place at approximately 7:10 p.m.
The Paladins (2-0) rallied from a 13-point first half deficit to down the Lions on Monday as Richard Brown poured in 15 points, 13 in the second half, and Bobby Austin added 13 points. Furman outscored Columbia 43-28 over the final 20 minutes and won despite shooting only 37% from the field.
Thursday's game marks the 14th all-time meeting between Furman and Mercer with the Paladins holding an 8-5 series advantage. The Bears claimed a 75-59 decision in the last meeting between the schools during the 2007-08 season, but Furman holds a 6-1 series advantage in games played in Greenville.

The All-Inclusive Ticket, "IT", costs $15 for a lower level reserved seat and $10 for an upper level general admission seat.
