Greenville, S.C. – Furman attacker Grace Pollak has been named the Southern Conference women's lacrosse offensive player of the week for games played Mar. 4-11, the conference office announced on Tuesday. It is the first weekly award of the season for Pollak, second of her career.
Pollak netted 11 goals in two games this past week. The Ellicott City, Md., native scored a career-high six goals to lead the Paladins to a comeback win over Campbell on Wednesday, before scoring five goals against Liberty on Saturday. The junior also added five ground balls, two caused turnovers, and two draws to her stat line. On the year, Pollak leads the Paladins with 19 goals and six assists for a team-high 25 points.
Furman is back in action on Friday, March 15, welcoming Butler to Paladin Stadium for a 3:00 p.m. contest.
