GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Furman men's tennis team will play host to Charlotte Friday at 3 p.m. at the Mickel Tennis Center.  No spectators will be allowed at the event, but live stats will be available at http://www.furmanpaladins.com.

Over the years, Furman has been very successful on its home court.  Over the past 19 seasons the Paladins have lost only 31 matches at home, posting an impressive record of 145-31 since 2002.

Furman enters the match at 2-0 after defeating Davidson, 5-2, on the road to open the season then blanking Garner-Webb, 7-0, at home on January 17.  Charlotte is 1-1 after downing Gardner-Webb, 6-1, then dropping a close 4-3 decision to No. 20 South Carolina last week.

The Paladins hold an 18-4 series advantage.  The two teams last met in 2020 in Charlotte, when the 49ers defeated Furman, 4-3.

Fans can follow the Furman men's tennis team throughout the season by logging onto http://www.furmanpaladins.com for live stats and live video of select matches.
