Doors open one hour prior to tip-off. 

For the safety of every patron, anyone entering Timmons Arena must walk through a metal detector or be subjected to a search by metal-detecting wand. 

Re-entry to Timmons Arena is allowed. 

Parking 
Parking is available for individuals with disabilities or injuries that prevent them from walking to the arena. Access to this parking requires a parking placard or license plate for those with disabilities.

Seating 
Wheelchair seating tickets are available upon request and are subject to availability. Timmons Arena has accessible seats available for wheelchair patrons and their companions. Contact the box office at 864.294.3099 for more information.

Service animals 
Service animals that are trained to perform work or tasks for the benefit of a person with a disability are welcome.  Pets are not allowed.

Elevators
Elevators are located on the left-hand side of Timmons Arena when entering through the front entrance.

The venue reserves the right to implement security procedures designed to protect the experience for all of our customers.

Items prohibited in Timmons Arena include, but are not limited to: 
• weapons (this includes weapons accompanied by a valid CPL permit); 
• aerosol cans (hair spray, mace, pepper spray, etc.); 
• noisemaking devices (horns, whistles, cow bells, turkey calls, etc.);
• outside food & beverage; 
• laser light pointers; 
• umbrellas; 
• bottles, cans, and coolers. 
 

There is no smoking allowed in Timmons Arena.

Prohibited items discovered upon entry must either be returned to their vehicle or discarded. Items will not be held for later pick-up.
 

Beer and wine will be sold at select locations throughout Timmons Arena. Patrons purchasing beer or wine will be carded at the ID Checkpoints located throughout the arena and will be limited to two beverages per sale. Beer and wine sales at Timmons Arena will end at the end of the third quarter for women's games and the under-12-minute media timeout for men's games. 

The possession of alcohol while entering Timmons Arena is expressly prohibited. Patrons in violation will be ejected and may be subject to arrest. In an effort to encourage an enjoyable experience for all fans, persons who are intoxicated will be denied entry into the stadium, regardless of ticket possession.

Complimentary parking at Timmons Arena is available for current donors to the Furman Athletics Fund. Three lots are currently available: Purple Lot (donors of $2,500+), Gray Lot (donors of $50-$2,499), and the new VIP Lot (invitees only). Parking in all donors lots remains first-come, first-served unless otherwise marked.

Individuals not parking in the Purple, Gray, or VIP lots may park in any of the other lots near Timmons Arena free of charge. Staff will be present on site to direct you.

ADA Accessible parking is also available at the front of Timmons Arena. Please see game day event staff for directions and access.
 

1. Spectators are an important part of the contest and help create an environment that fosters healthy competition. However, attending a college sporting event is a privilege and not a right.
2. Spectators shall at all times conform to accepted standards of good sportsmanship and behavior.
3. All spectator comments and behavior shall reflect respect for opposing participants, coaches, and game officials. Without them there would be no game.
4. Spectators shall heed and obey all directives from game management personnel, event staff, and police.
5. Any spectator interfering with play in any way shall be subject to immediate ejection from the site of the contest.
6. Spectators shall be subject to ejection for behavior that is disruptive, unruly or abusive. This includes foul language and any verbal or physical harassment of other spectators, especially
fans of the opposing team.
7. Spectators who witness, or are harassed by intimidating behavior or comments by other spectators are urged to report these occurrences immediately to game management personnel.
8. Physical retaliation, regardless of the actions or comments of other spectators, is never permitted and is subject to immediate ejection and a possible ban from attendance future SoCon
contests.
9. A spectator’s behavior reflects on the team he or she supports. Let others see that you’re a fan of a first-class program.
10. Enjoy the game, have passion for the game, but remember – it’s only a game. Keep your wits, and your personal integrity, about you.
 

There is an EMT on-site in Timmons Arena. Contact event staff located throughout the arena for assistance. 

Restrooms are located both upstairs and downstairs in Timmons Arena. All restrooms are equipped with baby changing stations. 

During the game, contact event staff for lost and found items. 

Lost items are returned to the Timmons Arena Administrative Offices if found.

Headlining the list of new fan experiences for 2021-22 Basketball is the Baseline Bar presented by Wicked Weed. The area will be located at the “Floor Left” baseline and will provide all fans the opportunity to watch the game from the baseline while having the opportunity to purchase beer & wine. This area will have high top tables for fans to enjoy the game with friends and family. Beer & wine sales will conclude at the “under 12” media timeout in the second half. 

A secondary point of sale for beer & wine will be located on the top concourse, right-side wing. This area will also have high top tables and a standing-room view-point of the game.

The top concourse, left-side wing will also house an activity zone for select games of the 2021-22 men’s & women’s basketball schedule. This area will range in activities from pop-a-shot arcade, face painter, balloon artists, kids' activities, and more!

Fans who would like to nominate their kids (ages 6-12) to be the official Tipoff Kid, presented by Sharonview FCU, can do so by registering via this LINK. Tipoff Kids will be courtside before the game and deliver the game ball, plus receive a t-shirt, swag, and complimentary tickets.

For women's games, the concession stand is located downstairs in Timmons Arena. For men's games, concession stands are located both upstairs and downstairs. 

Stands serve a variety of game day foods and Pepsi products. Please note that alcohol is not available for purchase in Timmons Arena concession stands. Patrons who wish to purchase alcohol must do so at the Wicked Weed or KW beer areas.

The Furman Team Shop is operated by our partner Barnes and Noble and will be available on a game-by-game basis in the top concourse on the left-side wing. To purchase Furman gear online, check out the online shop.

Single game and season tickets can be purchased online HERE.

Tickets can be purchased in person at the Timmons Arena Box Office located in the lobby of Timmons Arena on the campus of Furman University or by calling the box office (864.294.3099). The box office is open from 10:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday –Friday.

Season ticket plan charges are $5 per season ticket online, over the phone, or at the box office. All season and single game credit card transactions are charged a 2.5% convenience fee online, over the phone, or at the box office. All ticket sales are final. No exchanges, no refunds. 

We take fraud very seriously and thoroughly review every claim brought to our attention. If you suspect fraud on your One Furman TIX account, contact us.

And remember – where you buy matters. The only way to know your tickets are the real deal is to buy directly online from One Furman TIX or get them at the Timmons Arena box office.

Will call is located at the Timmons Arena Box Office Window marked Will Call.  Will call tickets can be picked up beginning 60 minutes prior to tipoff.  The individual picking up tickets must present photo identification (ex: state issued driver’s license) to claim their tickets.

Visiting team will call and complimentary admissions for player guests are located at the Player Guest table in the lobby of Timmons Arena, beginning 60 minutes prior to tipoff. Children 2 years and younger can attend a Furman Athletics event free of charge. If the row you are seated on is full, the child must sit on an adult’s lap.
