GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman is ranked 17th in this week's Stats Perform FCS Top 25 Poll, which was announced today.

The Paladins, who are coming off a 14-13 road loss at VMI on Saturday, return home to face Samford in a Saturday, 1:00 p.m. clash at Paladin Stadium.

Furman (1-1, 1-1 SoCon) rolled to a 58-14 win over Samford (1-1, 1-1 SoCon) a year ago in Birmingham but has lost three straight to the Bulldogs in Paladin Stadium, including a 38-25 verdict in 2018.

Samford claimed its first win of the 2021 spring season on Saturday, cruising past Western Carolina, 55-27, in Birmingham.
