GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Paladin indoor track and field team recorded three top-10 finishes Friday at the Clemson Opener in Clemson, S.C., and junior Bethany Graham recorded an indoor PR in the 5,000m at the Boston University Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener in Boston, Mass., on Saturday.
At Clemson Friday, sophomore Kaylie Armitage won the women's 3,000m with a time of 9:43.56, while sophomore Casey Burr recorded a time of 8:42.24 to take fourth place in the men's 3,000m. Senior Jonah Dill turned in a time of 8:68 for ninth place in the 60m high hurdles. Â
Graham posted a time of 16:02.34, good for 18th in her heat and 40th overall in the loaded field of collegiate and professional runners, including former Paladin Gabbi Jennings.
After the winter break, Furman will compete at the Carolina Challenge in Columbia, S.C., January 20-21.
