AUGUSTA, GA. -- Junior Anna Morgan (+3) tied for fifth Sunday at the Valspar Augusta Invitational at the par 72, 6,244 yard Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Ga. 

Morgan, who hails from Spartanburg, S.C., recorded three birdies, including consecutive birdies on No. 5 and No. 6, for a final-round 76 and finished three strokes back of Augusta's Natalia Yoko (E), who won the tournament with a two-round total of 74-70=144.

Senior Sarah-Eve Rhéaume (+6) carded an even 72 with three birdies Sunday to tie for 18th, and freshman Savannah Hylton (+11) paced the Paladins with five birdies, including back to back birdies on No. 14 and No. 15, for a final-round 73, tying for 41st.

Senior Kyra Cox (+16) and sophomore Sophia Burnett (+16) tied for 65th.  Burnett carded a 77 with a birdie on No. 9 Sunday, while Cox tallied an eagle on the par-5 No. to score an 82.  Sophomore Caroline Crumrine (+25), who played as an individual, posted an 82 with a birdie on No. 15 Sunday.

Fourth-ranked South Carolina (+14) and No. 25 Ole Miss (+14) shared the team title, finishing four strokes ahead of 14th-ranked Florida State (+18).  No. 9 Alabama (+23) placed fourth, followed by host Augusta (+29) and 23rd-ranked Virginia Tech (+29) in a tie for fifth place.  No. 41 Miami (+30) was seventh, followed by the 45th-ranked Paladins (+31) in eighth place.  Furman finished ahead of Power 5 schools No. 38 Purdue (+38), Tennessee (+47), and Minnesota (+51).

The Paladins will compete at the Clemson Invitational March 25-27 in Sunset, S.C.
