Greenville, S.C. – The Furman men's soccer team returns to Southern Conference play on Saturday when it travels to Lexington, Va., to face the VMI Keydets in a 1 p.m. match on Patchin Field.

Furman enters the contest at 6-3-1 overall and 1-0-0 in league play. The Paladins toppled preseason SoCon favorite UNC Greensboro, 1-0, last Saturday at Stone Stadium before capping their five-match homestand with a 2-0 victory over USC Upstate on Tuesday evening.

Furman holds a 38-1-1 record in 40 previous meetings versus the Keydets and secured a 2-1 victory over VMI in last season's regular season finale on goals from
Callum Allison and
Sam Miller. VMI is 3-8-0 on the season and 0-1-0 in SoCon play following a 5-1 loss to Mercer in its league opener.
