GREENVILLE, S.C.. -- Furman senior Carson Williams earned an at-large bid Saturday to the 2023 NCAA Cross Country Championship, which will be held Nov. 18 in Charlottesville, Va.
A native of Raleigh, N.C., Wiliams finished 13th at Friday's NCAA Southeast Region Championship after recording a personal-best time of 29:27.6 on the 10K course.
Williams will join Dylan Schubert, who won the men's individual title at Friday's championship, and the Furman women's team, who earned automatic bids to the NCAA Championship. The women's 6K will begin at 10:20 a.m., with the men's 10K to follow at 11:10 a.m.
