GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman today announced kickoff times for its five home football games for the upcoming 2023 season.
The Paladins kick off the season on Thursday, Aug. 31, against Tennessee Tech in a 7:00 p.m. contest that will highlight "FU After Dark 2.0."
Following a pair of road contests, Furman will return home to open Southern Conference play with Youth Day on Sept. 23 versus Mercer in a 2:00 p.m. battle at Paladin Stadium.
Arch-rival The Citadel is set to provide the opposition on Oct. 7 in a 2:00 p.m. clash for Family Weekend.
Two weeks later, on Oct. 28, Furman will celebrate homecoming weekend when it plays host to East Tennessee State in a 2:00 p.m. contest.
The Paladins' final home game, slated for Nov. 14 versus VMI, will headline Military Appreciation / Senior Day and get underway at 1:00 p.m.

Furman, coming off a 10-3 season a year ago that included a second round appearance in the FCS playoffs, is projected to return 18 starters and 38 players from its 44-man two-deep this fall off a squad that finished ranked a consensus 10th in both major FCS polls.
The Paladins were recently picked fifth and sixth, respectively, in FCS Preseason Top 25 Polls conducted by HERO Sports and Athlon Sports.
