HANAHAN, S.C. -- Senior Anna Morgan (-1) is tied for 32nd to lead the Furman women's golf team midway through round two Monday at the 18th annual Cougar Classic at the par 71, 6,269 yard Yeamans Hall Club in Hanahan, S.C.

The tournament was suspended due to inclement weather in the Lowcountry and will resume at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.  Round three will follow immediately upon the conclusion of round two.  Live tournament scoring will be available via http://www.golfstat.com.

A native of Spartanburg, S.C., Morgan carded an even 71 with three birdies in round one and posted three-straight birdies from No. 17 through the turn to No. 1 in round two.  Freshman Audrey Ryu (E) is tied for 44th with six holes to play in round two after birdieing her most recent two holes, No. 8 and No. 9.  She scored a 72 with three birdies in round one, her collegiate debut. 

Senior Caroline Crumrine (+3) led the Paladins with a 2-under 69 with a team-high five birdies in round one and is tied for 61st with seven holes left in the second round.  Junior Alise Knudson (+5) tallied a 76 with a birdie on No. 12 in the day's opening round and scored a birdie on No. 18 before the turn of round two.  She is tied for 79th.  

Sophomore Liza Lapeyere (+7) carded a 75 with birdies on No. 6 and No. 9 in the first round and birdied No. 18 and No. 6 so far in round two to tie for 88th.  

Freshman Kelsi Mauzy (+3), who is playing as an individual, is tied for 66th.  She recorded a 74 in round one and has birdies on No. 1 and No. 8 with eight holes left to play in round two.  

N.C. State's Lauren Olivares (-11), who fired a 60 with 13 birdies in round one, holds a one-stroke lead.  

Clemson (-19) is one stroke ahead of Kentucky (-18) in the team competition.  LSU (-17) is third, followed by UCF (-16) in fourth.  Ole Miss (-15) rounds out the top five.  Furman (+4) is tied for 13th with host College of Charleston (+4) in the loaded field, ahead of Power 5 programs Wisconsin (+10), Illinois (+14), and Penn State (+15).
