GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Furman men's tennis team resumes its season-opening four-match road trip this weekend when it travels to face the Xavier Musketeers and Bellarmine Knights in non-conference action.
The Paladins get the weekend started on Saturday evening at 5 p.m. versus Xavier before heading to Bellarmine on Sunday afternoon for a 12 p.m. contest.

Furman enters the weekend with an 0-1 overall record and has been idle since January 12 when it opened the season with a 7-0 defeat at 15
th-ranked South Carolina. Xavier currently sits at 0-3 to begin the year after falling to No. 7 Kentucky, No. 3 Ohio State, and Louisville. The Musketeers host Lipscomb on Friday afternoon. Bellarmine is 0-2 heading into Sunday's match with the Paladins after falling to Nebraska and Omaha.
Furman owns 1-0 records in the all-time series over Xavier and Bellarmine. The Paladins defeated both teams by 5-2 scores last season in Greenville.
Furman ends its road trip, while opening Southern Conference play, on February 8 at The Citadel.
