GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Furman indoor track and field teams will compete at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational, which is slated for Friday and Saturday at Boston University's Track and Tennis Center in Boston, Mass.  On Saturday, select members of the Paladin men's team will run at the Asics Sound Invite at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Live results from Boston will be available at https://lancertiming.com/, and the meet will be streamed for subscribers on FloTrack.  At Winston-Salem, results can found online at https://live.jdlfasttrack.com/meets/55092 and the meet will be streamed for Runnerspace subscribers.

On Friday, the Furman men will run in the 3,000m and 5,000m in Boston starting at 4:45 p.m., while the Paladin women will compete in the 1,000m, mile, and 3,000m on Saturday.  Furman events are slated to being at 12:30 p.m.  In the Asics Sound Invite on Saturday, Furman begins with the men's 60m at 10:25 a.m.  

In January at Clemson, junior Brayden Seymour ran a sub-4:00 mile, and sophomore Joe Womack broke his own Paladin record in the 400m.  Womack turned in a time of 49.46, breaking his own previous program record of 49.69, which he set on January 17.  Also in January, at the Vanderbilt Invitational, Seymour broke the Paladin record in the 1,000m after winning the event with a time of 2:21.91.

At the Clemson Opener in December, freshman Leland Bishop established a new school record of 22.27 in the men's 200m, and sophomore Claire Cook won the 600m with a program-record time of 1:30.92.  Graduate student Bryn Woodall won the 3,000m with a time of 7:59.52, crushing the previous meet record of 8:14.47 at the JDL Early Bird Invitational at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C.
