GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Furman men's tennis team is back home for the first time in over a month Saturday afternoon when it hosts the Dayton Flyers at 1 p.m. from Mickel Tennis Center.

The Paladins (4-9) closed out their season-long 10-match road trip last week with three matches in four days. Furman posted a 2-1 record highlighted by back-to-back wins over UNC Greensboro and Washington and Lee. The Paladins opened Southern Conference play with a 4-3 win against UNC Greensboro on March 4 and followed the next day with a 7-0 sweep of Washington and Lee.
Furman last played at Mickel Tennis Center on January 30, opening its home schedule with a 7-0 sweep of North Greenville. The Paladins will close out the season with seven of their final nine matches at home.
Dayton enters the weekend with a 7-6 overall record and is coming off a 4-3 loss at Penn State on Wednesday. The Flyers, under the direction of 14
th-year head coach Ryan Meyer, come in having won six out of their last eight matches dating back to February 6.
Furman and Dayton are meeting for the first time in program history.
The Paladins step back into Southern Conference play next Tuesday, March 17, traveling to Macon, Ga., for a 2:30 p.m. match against Mercer.
