Furman Concludes Road Trip This Week With Four Matches

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Furman men's tennis team wraps up a season long 10-match road trip this week when it travels to UNC Greensboro, Washington and Lee, James Madison, and Richmond for a stretch of four matches in five days.

The Paladins get the week started on Wednesday at 1 p.m. opening Southern Conference play against UNC Greensboro before facing Washington and Lee on Thursday at 3 p.m. Following a day off on Friday, Furman takes on James Madison Saturday at 11 a.m. and then wraps up the road trip Sunday versus Richmond at 11 a.m.

Furman (2-8, 0-0 SoCon) last played on Friday, February 27, and is coming off a 4-0 defeat at Charlotte.

UNC Greensboro enters the week sporting a 2-7 overall record and is 1-0 in the SoCon. For the season, Washington and Lee is 3-5, James Madison 6-3, and Richmond 2-5.

The Paladins lead in the all-time series over all four upcoming opponents. Furman holds a 31-5 advantage over UNC Greensboro, 9-0 against Washington and Lee, 5-2 versus James Madison, and 14-1 over Richmond.

The Paladins return to Mickel Tennis Center for the first time in over a month next Saturday, March 14, hosting Dayton at 1 p.m.
