GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Furman men's tennis team closes out the regular season Thursday afternoon when it hosts the Wofford Terriers in Southern Conference action at 3 p.m. from Mickel Tennis Center.

The Paladins (7-14, 3-3 SoCon) suffered a 5-2 setback to 60
th-ranked East Tennessee State on Monday afternoon at Mickel Tennis Center. For the eighth time in the past 10 matches, Furman secured the doubles point after capturing wins from
Evan Duggal and
Landon Ecarma at No. 2 and
Alex Han and
Finn Pollard at No. 3. In singles,
Theophile Joly earned his fourth win of the season in straight sets at No. 3.
Wofford currently sits at 6-10 overall and 1-5 in the SoCon and is coming off a 4-3 loss last Saturday at Mercer. The Terriers are under the direction of 26
th-year head coach Rod Ray.
The Paladins are facing Wofford for the 49
th time in program history and holds a 46-2 advantage in the all-time series. Furman has won 16 straight matches over the Terriers dating back to 2012.
The Paladins travel to Chattanooga, Tenn., next week for the 2026 SoCon Men's Tennis Championships, which is being held April 16-18 at the Champions Club.
