Junior Year (2019-2020):  Earned second team All-SoCon honors with an eighth-place finish (18:21.0) at the league cross country championships...recorded a strong showing at the Southeast Region meet with a 66th place finish (21:41.1)...competed in her first NCAA Cross Country Championships...opened the season with a seventh place finish (18:22.1) at the Eye Opener Cross Country Festival...posted a 6k career best at the Bill Dellinger Invitational, placing 83rd with a time of 21:20.9. 

Sophomore Year (2018-19):  Finished seventh at the Eye Opener cross country meet…posted a personal-best 5K time of 18:03.5 at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational and a 6K personal best of 21:44.2 at the Wisconsin PreNationals meet…placed 16^th at the SoCon Cross Country Championships…turned in a fifth-place finish in the 3,000m at the Bulldog Indoor Invitational…notched a personal-best time of 10:02.03 in the 3,000m at the SoCon Indoor Championships, taking sixth place…also finished eighth in the 5,000m at the league indoor meet…scored an outdoor personal-best of 17:47.65 in the 5,000m at the Tennessee Relays…also tallied a personal best in the 1,500m (4:44.91) at the USC Outdoor Open, good for sixth place…finished seventh in the 5,000m at the SoCon Outdoor Championships…named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.

Freshman Year (2017-18):  Earned a spot on the SoCon All-Freshman team after placing 19^th with a time of 18:11.8 at the league cross country championships…finished third with a time of 18:46.7 at the Gene Mullin Cross Country Invitational…placed second in the mile (5:15.18) at the UNCG Early Bird Indoor Duals…finished second in the 1,500m with a personal-best time of 4:46.70 at the USC Outdoor Open…recorded a personal-best mile time of 5:10.18 for fourth place at the Catamount Outdoor Classic…named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.

High School:  NCISAA record holder in the 4x800m relay...ranks fifth all-time in North Carolina in the 4x800m relay...a member of the medley relay team that recorded the top time in North Carolina in 2016-2017...an all-metro selection as a junior and senior...won the NCISAA state championship in the 4x800m relay and 800m...holds the school record 4x800m and medley relay...captured the TISAC conference championship in the 4x800m relay and 800m...a four-time all-conference and all-state selection...NCISAA all-conference selection sophomore, junior, and senior year...TISAC all-conference selection freshmen year...a four-time All-Metro selection for cross country...earned 2016-2017 Scholar Athlete accolades as a senior.

Personal:  Emily Elizabeth Lane was born on February 23, 1999, in Anderson, S.C.…daughter of Dennis and Kristin Lane...plans to major in chemistry.
