2017 — Southern Conference All-Freshman Team selection...saw action in 25 games and made 12 starts, including nine at shortstop, two at second base, and one at third base...11 of his starts came over the first season’s first seven weeks...singled and scored a run in his first game, a 9-7 win over Dayton...made his first start, went 2-for-3, drove in two runs, and scored twice in series finale versus Dayton (12-11 loss)...doubled in a 3-for-5, wo-run performance against North Carolina A&T (17-2 win)...had two hits and scored a run in a 27-10 rout of Gardner-Webb.

High School: 2016 graduate of West Iredell (3A) High School...baseball coach was Randy Martin...starred as a middle infielder, where he earned all-county and all-conference honors three times while helping his squad to a pair of conference championships and state playoff appearances....hit .407 with six doubles and a 1.035 OPS in 22 games as a senior...batted .417 as a junior...played quarterback on the football team his sophomore year...starred on Legion Post 180 squad that advanced to 2015 state playoffs...played travel ball with the Southern Athletics...ranked 21st in North Carolina and 350th nationally among shortstops by Perfect Game in 2016.
