2012 — Made three relief appearances, working a total of 4 1/3 innings...allowed three hits but fanned three in two scoreless innings of work against USC Upstate (17-3 loss)...worked a scoreless frame  (1 H) against East Tennessee State (14-2 loss)...named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll.

2011 — Appeared in two games in relief:  vs. Presbyterian (11-4 loss) and Charleston Southern (14-4 loss)...allowed a hit and two runs (one earned) against CSU....named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll.

2010 — Appeared in three games, including two in relief...pitched a scoreless inning (2 BB) against eventual national champion South Carolina in his collegiate debut...first collegiate start came in a 15-4 loss to Gardner-Webb (2.1 IP, 4 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 1 BB, 1 K).

High School —  2009 graduate of Walton (5A) High School...coach was Shane Amos...played outfield...member of state runner-up team his juinor year.

Personal —  Full name is Emil Brignola IV...son of Emil and Claire Brignola...native of New Jersey...political science major.
