Furman:  Will anchor what should be a solid Paladin middle infield...appears poised to again start at shortstop...career includes starting experience at shortstop, third base, and second base...sports a strong arm and proven defensive skills...one of the SoCon’s top defensive shortstops.  2010 — Earned 55 starts, all at shortstop...hit .231 with seven home runs and 29 RBI...doubled three times and drove in two runs as part of a 3-for-5 performance in Furman’s 10-9 victory over Georgia in Athens — Furman’s first win in Athens since 1925...fashioned a 2-for-4 display with a two-run home run in a 13-8 win over Ohio...went deep as part of a five-home Furman performance in an 11-3 victory over 26th-ranked College of Charleston...drove in a career best four runs in an 8-7 loss at Western Carolina...homered in a 2-for-5, 2-RBI display in an 11-6 victory over UNC Greensboro...combined with Dylan Cole to crack back-to-back home runs against Citadel ace Asher Wojciechowski in Southern Conference Tournament first round action (9-5 loss)...did not commit an error in his final 11 games...named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll.  2009 — Saw action in 23 games and earned 15 starts at third base...hit .255 with two home runs and eight RBI...also made his debut as a pitcher with seven appearances, all in relief...worked 10.0 innings and struck out six while issuing only one walk...went 6-for-12 with three doubles and two RBI in four SoCon Tournament games, including 3-for-4 with an RBI and two doubles in a 10-8 tournament opening round loss to regular season champion and No. 1 seed Elon...came back to go 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in 6-5 victory over College of Charleston...belted a two-run home run against Charleston Southern (6-5 win)...tossed 1 2/3 innings of one-hit ball, scoreless relief in 6-5 loss to UNC Greensboro...named to SoCon Academic Honor Roll...played summer ball in the Great Lakes League with the Xenia Scouts, along with Furman teammate Barry Benton...started in 27 games ad hit .218 with one home run and 14 RBI.   2008 — Earned playing time in 20 games and made seven starts, including four at shortstop and three at second base...recorded his first hit in a 4-2 win over 10th-ranked South Carolina...went 2-for-2 with a double and scored a pair of runs in a 12-10 win over Gardner-Webb...delivered a two-run double in a 17-1 victory over Wofford...named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll.

High School:  2007 graduate of Evangelical (Division 2AA) Christian...coached by Jim and Steve Heinze...played shortstop and second base...batted .375 with 39 RBI and swiped 21 bases his senior year...three-time all-city and all-region pick...helped team to state semi-finals...played summer ball with the Memphis Dulin Dodgers, keying his squad to the B.E.S.T. World Series title
