Furman: Set to make the transition to the mound this fall as a reliever...Furman tenure includes two stints (2008 & 2010-present).  2010 — Saw limited action, playing in 16 games and notching six starts, including five as designated hitter and one at first base...went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored in a 13-8 win over Ohio.  2009 — Member of the Richland (Texas) Community College Thunderducks NJCAA national champion...team posted a 47-13 record.   2008 — Saw action in 15 games and logged 11 starts as a true freshman before suffering a torn labrum, which ended his season...10 starts came as designated hitter and one at first base...hit .250 (9x36)...went 2-for-4  with an RBI in a 4-2 win over Charleston Southern...scored a pair of runs in an 11-4 victory over The Citadel.

High School:  2007 graduate of Prestonwood (5A) Christian Academy...played third base...hit .378 with 33 RBI and earned all-district and all-state honors as a senior in keying squad to a 33-1 record...team was ranked No. 8 in the country by Perfect Game and Top 50 by Baseball America...played for Lake Highland Wildcats squad that twice advanced to Connie Mack World Series.
