Biography

2015 — Served as Furman’s starting second baseman for a third consecutive season, posting 52 of his 56 starts at the keystone position...also logged three starts a shortstop and one at third base...enjoyed a highly successful season at the plate, batting .339, raising his average 44 points over his sophomore season...14 home runs led Furman and ranked fourth in the SoCon while hits (74), batting average (.339), runs (45), RBI (46), and slugging percentage (.606) numbers ranked second on the squad...finished second on the team behind Chris Ohmstede with 23 multi-hit games, giving him 47 over the past two seasons....also had 11 multi-RBI outings...fashioned a team best 16-game hitting streak from Apr. 21-May 15 (.375, 24x64)...recorded just three multi-game hitless stretches (two 3-game, once back-to-back) during the season, giving him only four such hitless strings over the last two campaigns (117 games, 469 at bats)...homered twice, including a walk-off solo shot in the bottom of the 10th inning to give Furman its first victory of the season, an 8-7 (10-inning triumph) over Akron...put together a torrid 10-game stretch from Mar. 8-25, hitting .550 (22x40) with four home runs, five doubles, 12 RBI, and 11 runs scored...run included a 4-for-5, 3-RBI display at Gardner-Webb (10-0 win)...homered twice and tied a career high with five RBI versus USC Upstate (20-6 win)...also homered twice against ETSU (7-3 loss)...doubled in a 3-for-4 peformance versus Western Carolina in SoCon Touranment action (12-4 win).

2014 — Only player on the squad to start all 59 games, which he did at second base...batted .295 with five home runs and 35 RBI...totaled 24 multi-hit games, second ony to Greg Harrison’s team leading 25...went hitless in back-to-back games only once...had a season best 11-game hitting streak (.326, 17x52) in March...drove in three runs and scored twice in a 13-5 win over Toledo...double in a 2-for-4, 2-RBI peformance at Georgia (6-4 loss)...spooled a 4-for-5 display with a double and triple against UNC Asheville (7-6 loss)...played a key role in Furman’s road series win at Western Carolina, going 3-for-5 and scoring two runs in a 9-5 win over the Catamounts...came back in the series’ rubber game with WCU to go 2-for-4 with a home run in 6-1 triumph...homered twice, scored four times, and drove in a career high five runs in a 4-for-5 display versus Elon (14-3 win).

2013 — Named to the SoCon All-Freshman Team in balloting by league head coaches after playing in 56 games and earning starts at second base in 53 games...batted .317 with two home runs and 29 RBI...fielded .955, committing 12 errors in 266 chances...went 2-for-5 with three RBI in 10-6, series clinching win at Elon...homered and drove in a pair of runs, part of a 3-for-5 performance versus Western Carolina (9-3 loss in 12 innings)...doubled, tripled and drove in a season high five runs with a 4-for-5 display against Wofford (13-3 win)...went 3-for-4 with three RBI in an 8-5 win at Gardner-Webb...posted a 4-for-6 contest against Dayton (19-3 win).

High School:  2012 graduate of Moeller High School...baseball coach was Tim Held and assistant coach was former Furman standout and All-Southern Conference catcher Tony Maccani (2005-07)...played shortstop and third base...two-time All-Greater Catholic League (GCL) selection...helped lead Moeller to 2012 state championship, winning 16 of its final 17 games en route to 26-3 campaign...member of four GCL title teams...hit .403 with 16 RBI, 25 runs, and 10 stolen bases on 2011 state poll championship squad...played summer ball with the Cincinnati Flames.
