Furman: Heads into the fall in the mix for the vacant starting cornerback job...positioned himself with impressive work in the spring...competitive player.  2010 — Appeared in all 11 games as a backup cornerback and on special teams...tallied a season high four stops versus Howard (56-14 win)...credited with a fumble recovery against Wofford...clocked a personal best 6.85 in the 60m at the Tiger Tune-Up Indoors and finished seventh in the 60m at the SoCon Indoors with a time of 6.98.  2009 — Saw action in nine of 11 games...logged his first start at cornerback, totaling a season best five tackles and a pass breakup against Appalachian State...credited with four tackles versus Auburn.

High School:  2009 graduate of South Gwinnett (5A) High School...football coach was John Small...played wide receiver and defensive back...career statistics include 96 tackles, five interceptions, and 10 pass deflections...earned all-county honors his senior year after collecting 46 tackles, four interceptions, and five pass deflections...clocked a 10.9 in the 100m, 22.7 in the 200m, and placed in the state 4x100m relay in 2008, his junior year.
