Furman:  Versatile performer blessed with good hands...fashioned a strong spring to improve his candidacy for major playing time this fall...began his collegiate career at tight end before making the move to wide receiver.  2010 — Earned his first action as a reserve receiver and member of special teams, appearing in all 11 games...named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll.  2009 — Member of scout team...awarded redshirt and extra year of eligibility...recipient of Furman’s Purple Pounder Award, given annually to a true freshman...named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll.

High School:  2009 graduate of Marist (4A) High School, which also produced freshman wide receiver Jordan Snellings...football coach was Alan Chadwick...two-way starter at wide receiver and defensive back...caught three touchdown passes and averaged 22.9 yards per catch playing in a wishbone offense...registered 65 tackles, 10 pass deflections, two forced fumbles, and a pair of interceptions in helping key Marist to a 13-game winning streak, region championship, and state runner-up finish...team beat state champion Tucker, 38-0, during the regular season.
