Furman:  Tough, coachable player who registered improvement in the spring...will provide reserve duty at middle linebacker...candidate for special teams duty...joined the program as a walk-on.  2010 — Earned his first playing time, seeing duty versus Howard (56-14 win).   2009 — Did not see any action.

High School:  2009 graduate of Clarkstown South High School...football coach was Mike Scarpelli...played quarterback, wide receiver, and linebacker...two-time second team all-county honoree as a wide receiver...also starred in track & field, earning first team all-section accolades in the pentathlon...two-time state qualifier.

Personal:  Full name is Kyle Ian Sanders...son of mark Fiona Sanders...born January 30, 1991, in Providence, Rhode Island...has a brother, Blake...health sciences major.
