2012 — Coaches second team preseason All-SoCon selection. 2011 — Delievered solid play in his third full campaign as a starter...earned second team All-SoCon honors in voting by media...sat out the first three games...returned to see action in the last eight contests, including starts in the final seven games...credited with 75 tackles, three pass deflections, and a fumble recovery...notched a career high 17 tackles against FCS third-ranked Appalachian State (20-10 win)...credited with 12 stops versus Elon...also had double digit tackles against both fifth-ranked Wofford (20-10) and Samford.  2010 — Served as starting free safety in 10 of 11 games...notched 63 tackles, including two for-loss, and sack...racked up a season high 11 tackles and a pickoff versus Samford (27-10 win)...had 10 tackles, an interception, a sack, and a pass breakup versus Chattanooga...registered a pickoff and fumble recovery in season opening 45-15 victory over Colgate.  2009 — Earned starts at free safety in all 11 games and totaled 77 tackles, second on the squad...finished off  the campaign with a season high 16 tackles and interception against Wofford (58-21 win), which earned him SoCon Defensive Freshman of the Week honors...named to the coaches SoCon All-Freshman Team along with teammates Josh Lynn and Jerodis Williams.  2008 — Member of scout team...awarded redshirt and extra year of eligibility.

High School:  2008 graduate of Montgomery Bell (Division II 2A) Academy, which also produced Paladin teammate Tank Phillips...played strong safety and wide receiver...totaled 79 tackles, six interceptions, and seven pass deflections in a career that saw him miss almost two full seasons due to knee injuries...enjoyed an injury free 2007 campaign, totaling 67 tackles, six pickoffs, and seven pass breakups while helping MBA to a 13-0 record and state title...registered a pair of interceptions and was named Defensive MVP in MBA’s 12-0 state title Blue Cross Bowl win over Brentwood Academy...2007 Tennessee Sportswriters Association All-State selection.
