Furman:  Athletic defensive tackle who registered improvement versus the run and as a pass rusher in spring practice...will see action this year, providing experienced depth behind projected starter Colton Keig.  2010 — Played in 10 of Furman’s 11 games, missing only the Wofford contest...totaled 11 tackles, including two for-loss...came on strong late in the campaign, tallying six tackles in the Paladins’ last two games, including a career high four stops versus Georgia Southern in the season finale...had a tackle for-loss versus Howard (56-14 win).  2009 — Registered an assisted tackle in Furman’s season opening 45-21 win over Presbyterian...did not see any additional action and was granted a redshirt and extra year of eligibility.

High School:  2009 graduate of Bardstown (2A) High School...football coach was David Clark...saw action at five positions during his prep tenure: fullback, defensive end, tight end, inside linebacker, and halfback...career statistics include 271 tackles, 15 sacks, eight fumble recoveries, 1434 rushing yards, and 12 touchdowns...three-year starter...served as team captain his junior and senior years...as a senior ran for 671 yards (6.4 ypc) and seven touchdowns and tallied 63 tackles and six sacks...also played basketball and competed in track, specializing in the shot put and discus.
