Chad Nash Career Records

Sophomore Year (2020-21):  Nash competed in three singles matches and two doubles contests for the Paladins.  He recorded a 6-4, 6-2 singles victory at flight six at The Citadel.  Nash was named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.

Freshman Year (2019-20):  Nash saw action in four singles matches and three doubles matches as a freshman.  In singles, he recorded a 6-3, 6-2 win over North Greenville at flight four and held on for a 6-3, 6-7, 6-2 victory versus The Citadel at flight six.  He teamed with James Roelofse for a 6-1 advantage versus North Greenville at flight two doubles then defeated The Citadel, 6-3, at flight three doubles with teammate Clarke Wilson.

Prep/Personal:  Nash, who ranked among the top 35 in the Southeast by TennisRecruiting.net, competed for Hanahan High and trained under Ben Simon at the Randy Pate Tennis Academy.  A three-time All-State and All-Low Country selection, he won the state singles championship in 2018, earning the South Carolina State Sportsmanship Award for the tournament.  Nash helped Hanahan to the state team title in 2016 and 2017 and was voted team MVP in both 2016 and 2017.  He also reached the finals of the Atlanta ITF in doubles, and he boasted a UTR of 11.3 in singles and 12.2 in doubles.  A member of the National Honor Society, Nash also volunteered in a campaign to feed the homeless on Thanksgiving in 2016, and he has participated in Service Club, where elite players help in community events and mentor younger, upcoming tennis athletes.  He was active in the South Carolina Junior Tennis Foundation Ambassador Program and volunteered training Special Olympics tennis athletes.  Chad Stewart Nash was born on February 4, 2000, in Charlotte, N.C.  He is the son of Tim and Margaret Nash.  He is studying health sciences.
