2018 — Enjoyed a solid freshman campaign, serving primarily in relief....made a pair of spot starts in late April after freshman teammate Matt Lazzaro exited the weekend rotation due to arm stiffness...finished second on the team with 21 appearances, trailing only Tyler Kimbrell (25)...worked 44 2/3 innings...went 2-2 with a 6.45 ERA...earned run average was sub-5.00 as late as May 3...opponents hit just .275 against him, the second lowest average on staff...picked up his first career save with a strong outing (4.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 4 K) at Winthrop (8-3 win)...earned his first victory in relief (3.0 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 2 K) in series-opening, 12-9 road triumph over Mercer that keyed Furman to a series victory...best outing of the season (6.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 3 BB, 3 K) came in spot start duty at The Citadel (6-1 series clinching win)...
