Sophomore Year (2014-15): Placed 15^th with a time of 2:22.46 in the 800m at the SoCon Indoor Championships…finished 13^th with a season-best time of 2:20.49 in the 800m at the SoCon Outdoor Championships…named to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.

Freshman Year (2013-14): Did not compete for the Paladins. 

High School:  Ran on the 4x800m that was the runner up at the state championship meet her junior season…earned All-State accolades in the 4x800m…won the 2012 SCTCCCA Coaches Classic 800m championship…earned academic awards for both cross country and track and field…a member of the National Honor Society and the National Beta Club…earned the AP Scholar Award.

Personal:  Abigail Short was born on November 15, 1994, in Osage Beach, Mo....daughter of David and Betsy Short...is undecided on her major.
