Fifth Year (2024-25):  Voted the 2024-25 SoCon Male Athlete of the Year and the 2024-25 Furman Frank Selvy Male Athlete of the Year. He was named NCAA Southeast Region Male Cross Country Athlete of the Year after placing third with a 10K time of 28:39.6 at the 2024 NCAA Cross Country Championship, marking the highest national finish in the history of the Furman cross country program. Schubert became the first three-time All-American in Paladin cross country history after finishing 24th at the 2023 championship and 11th in 2022. The 2024 SoCon Men's Cross Country Runner of the Year, Schubert, who led the Paladins to their 12th-straight league title and a 17th-place finish at the national meet, won the individual conference title for the third-consecutive year after establishing a new course record of 23:40.1 in the 8K event. He went on to place third at the NCAA Southeast Region Championship, earning a spot on the all-region team for the fourth-straight year, after winning the region meet in 2023. Schubert was a 2025 NCAA Indoor Track Championship qualifier in the 5,000m. He ranked tenth nationally with a time of 13:17.89 in the event, a Furman program record which he posted at the Boston University Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener. To complete the national trifecta in the three sports of cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track, Schubert placed seventh with a time of 29:11.18 to earn a first team All-America citation in the 10,000m at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Champion-ships. He won the event at the NCAA East Preliminaries to reach the final. With just 400m left in the race, he was in sixth place, but in the first turn of the final lap, he passed two runners, then with just 200m to go, he picked off two more athletes to move into second place. Schubert surged into the lead in the final straightaway to claim gold with a time of 29:00.74. Schubert qualified for the national meet after winning the 10,000m at the prestigious Bryan Clay Invitational with a time of 27:45.63, knocking 42 seconds off the previous Furman record of 28:27.85, while also establishing a new meet record. He also won gold in the 5,000m at the SoCon outdoor championship, setting a league meet record with a time of 14:11.06. A May graduate with a 3.3 GPA in health sciences, Schubert was a member of the USTFCCCA All-Academic team, SoCon Academic All-Conference Team, and SoCon Academic Honor Roll.
Senior Year (2023-24):  Recorded one of the most prolific seasons in Furman cross country/track and field history…earned his second-consecutive All-America citation for cross country after finishing 24th at the NCAA Cross Country Championships…won the NCAA Southeast Region cross country meet with a 10K PR of 28:51.2, setting a new course record and becoming the first individual region champion in the history of the Furman cross country program…honored as the SoCon Runner of the Year…led the Paladins to their 11th-straight SoCon Cross Country title with a time of 23:33.7 to claim the individual title…a member of the Paladin DMR team that took gold with a program record time of 9:55.18 at the SoCon Indoor Championship…set Furman records in both the indoor 5,000m (13:29.95) and outdoor 5,000m (13:36.98)…competed in the mile for the first time in his collegiate career, posting a sub 4:00 time of 3:58.38 to finish second in the event at the USC Indoor Open…won the 5,000m at the SoCon Indoor Championship…took gold with a 1,500m personal-best time of 3:48.53 at the SoCon outdoor meet…won the 5,000m at the NCAA East Preliminaries, shattering the facility record with a time of 13:50.99…became the first regional winner in the history of the Furman men's track and field program…entered the meet, his second East preliminary and first in the 5,000m, ranked tenth after qualifying with a time of 13:36.98…earned an outdoor honorable mention All-America scroll in the 5,000m after finishing 19th at the NCAA Championship…named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll…honored as a member of the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.
Junior Year (2022-23):  Honored as an All-American after placing 11th with a 10K PR of 29:07.5 at the NCAA Cross Country Championships…named to the NCAA All-Southeast Region team after leading the Paladins with a fourth-place 6K finish (29:50.1) at the region championships…posted an 8K PR of 23:25.9 to finish 12th at the Nuttycombe Invitational…placed fourth at the Furman Cross Country Invitational…chosen the SoCon Runner of the Year…led the Paladins to their tenth-straight SoCon Cross Country title with a time of 23:41.5 to claim the individual title…competed on the Furman DMR team that set a program record of 9:56.29 to win gold at the SoCon Indoor Championship…also won the 5,000m title (13:54.48) at the league indoor meet…set PRs in both the 3,000m (7:57.59) and the 5,000m (13:45.30) during indoor season…named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll… honored as a member of the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.
Sophomore Year (2021-22): Qualified for NCAA East Preliminaries after posting a personal-best time of 28:52.85 in the 10,000m at the Virginia Challenge…finished 32nd at the NCAA East Prelims…finished as runner-up at the SoCon Cross Country Championships, where he was honored with the SoCon Pinnacle Award, which is given to the student-athlete with the highest GPA on the championship-winning team…All-SoCon selection for cross country, indoor, and outdoor track…placed second with a 5K PR of 14:02.9 at the Furman Cross Country Invitational…finished ninth with an 8K PR of 24:10.0 at the FSU Cross Country Open…tallied a 17th-place finish at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational to help the Paladin men to the team title…earned USTFCCCA All-Southeast Region honors after placing 12th with a 10K PR of 29:42.5 at the NCAA Southeast Region Cross Country Championships…competed at the NCAA Cross Country Championships…finished fourth with a PR of 8:06.96 in the 3,000m at the South Carolina Invitational…finished second in the 5,000m (14:10.92) and third in the 3,000m (8:11.00) at the SoCon Indoor Championships…placed second in the 5,000m at the SoCon Outdoor Championships…named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll and the SoCon Academic All-Conference Team...honored as a member of the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.
