2024-25:  Honored as the Edna Hartness Furman Female Athlete of the Year...2025 Southern Conference Championship individual medalist…Named to the All-Southern Conference Team for the second-consecutive season...Established a new league tournament record with an opening-round 66…Tied for seventh with rounds of 72-70-71=213 at the NCAA Norman Regional to punch her ticket to the NCAA Championship, where she made the cut to advance to the final round and concluded the tournament in a tie for 47th… Led Furman to the 2025 SoCon team title…Highest ranked player in the SoCon…Earned four SoCon Player of the Week awards… Led the league with a 72.60 stroke average over 35 rounds… Recorded five top-10 finishes in 12 events during the 2024-25 season, including a fourth-place finish at the Evie Odom Invitational and a fifth-place finish at the Landfall Tradition…Led Furman to four top-4 team finishes during her sophomore campaign...A concert pianist...Boasts a 4.0 GPA in biochemistry...Honored with the 2025 SoCon Pinnacle Award, which is given annually to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA on the championship team... 2023-24:  Named to the All-Southern Conference Team... Selected to the SoCon All-Freshman Team... Qualified as an individual for the NCAA Auburn Regional, where she tied for 46th… Posted a 73.2 stroke average over 33 rounds, the lowest freshman stroke average in the history of Furman women’s golf... Notched six top-20 finishes in 11 events, including a fourth-place finish with rounds of 72-69-70=211 at the Clemson Invitational... Tied for ninth at the Evie Odom Invitational in October... Shot a 5-under at the Cougar Classic in September after carding a 67 in the third round, her lowest round of the season... Chosen SoCon Player of the Week on Sept. 13 for her performance at the Cougar Classic… Named to the WGCA All-America Scholar Team and the SoCon Academic Honor Roll.

High School/Junior Golf:  Ryu was honored as the Ohio Capital Conference Player of the Year for three consecutive seasons from 2020 through 2022.  She earned Central Ohio Player of the Year accolades in 2021 after claiming the state individual championship and was voted to the All-OCC first team from 2019 through 2022.  Ryu was also named to the Central Ohio first team in 2022, when she finished as the runner-up at the state championship.  Ryu, who recorded a low round of 65 as a high school athlete, was the AJGA 2022 Dana Inc Junior champion and competed in the LPGA Dana Open.  An AJGA Rolex Scholastic All-American, she is a National Merit Commended Scholar earned an IB diploma.  She played in the Columbus Youth Symphony Orchestra and was involved in the leadership of the Dublin Tennis Outreach tutoring branch.
