Associate head coach Mackenzie Raim Meek is in her seventh season as a member of the Paladin women's golf staff.
During her sixth season at Furman, the Paladins swept the league postseason awards following the team’s win at the Southern Conference Championship. Junior Audrey Ryu, the league individual medalist and player of the year, was voted SoCon Female Athlete of the Year and Edna Harness Furman Female Athlete of the Year for the second-straight year, marking the fifth-consecutive year and sixth time in the last seven years that a Paladin women’s golfer has claimed the two awards. Olivia Hasselbach was honored as the SoCon Freshman of the Year and tied for 21st to lead the Paladins at the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional. In addition to Ryu and Hasselbach, sophomore Eva Ringwald earned a spot on the All-SoCon team, and Hasselbach and Ava Hanneman were honored with SoCon All-Freshman team citation.
Meek helped guide the Paladins to the 2025 Southern Conference Championship and an NCAA Norman Regional berth. Sophomore Audrey Ryu was voted SoCon Female Athlete of the Year and Edna Hartness Furman Female Athlete of the Year after winning individual medalist honors at the league tournament and establishing a new SoCon Championship record with an opening-round 66. She went on to tie for seventh with rounds of 72-70-71=213 at the NCAA Norman Regional to punch her ticket to the NCAA Championship, where she made the cut to advance to the final round and concluded the tournament in a tie for 47th. Ryu led the league with a 72.69 stroke average over 35 rounds to earn her second-consecutive all-conference scroll. Senior Alise Knudson was also chosen to the All-SoCon team, while Eva Ringwald and Jenna Madden were named to the SoCon All-Freshman team.
In 2023-24, Furman’s Anna Morgan made history when she became the first three-time SoCon Female Athlete of the Year selection and the first three-time Edna Hartness Furman Female Athlete of the Year honoree. A WGCA first team All-American and GolfWeek second team All-American, Morgan won her second-straight SoCon individual championship, one of four individual titles that she claimed during the year, and was named the Southern Conference Player of the Year for the third-consecutive year. Besides setting Paladin records for wins in a season, Morgan also set Furman standards in season stroke average (70.1) and career stroke average (72.2). Morgan also competed in her third Augusta National Women’s Amateur and earned her second U.S. Arnold Palmer Cup team invitation in 2024. Meek helped coach the Paladins to their third-consecutive team title at the Lady Paladin Invitational in the fall of 2023, and in the spring of 2024, both Morgan and freshman Audrey Ryu earned individual bids to the NCAA Auburn Regional. The Paladin duo was named to the All-SoCon team, and Ryu was honored as a member of the SoCon All-Freshman team
The Paladins captured the 2023 Southern Conference Championship, Furman’s 20th overall title, and advanced to the NCAA Athens Regional. Senior Anna Morgan was honored as the SoCon Female Athlete of the Year and the SoCon Player of the year for the second-consecutive season and competed in her second-straight Augusta National Women’s Amateur. Hull led the Paladins to the team title at the Lady Paladin Invitational for the second year in a row, and Morgan finished as the individual champion at the SoCon Championship and at the UNF Collegiate. Morgan earned her third All-SoCon team citation and was joined on the All-SoCon team by Chloe Johnson. Both Chloe and Faith Johnson were voted to the SoCon All-Freshman Team. The Paladins were honored with a WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award, which is given to the top 25 teams in each NCAA division.
Furman won the 2022 Southern Conference Championship, and Meek helped lead the Paladin team to a 36th-place national ranking. Anna Morgan, the 2022 SoCon Player of the Year and 2021-22 SoCon Female Athlete of the Year, achieved a national ranking of 16th and was honored with a WGCA All-America second team citation. Morgan, who was named to the U.S. team for the Arnold Palmer Cup, competed at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur, where she tied for 21st among a field of the world’s top 72 amateur players. Hull led the Paladins to the team title at the Lady Paladin Invitational, where Furman won the tournament by 32 strokes with a three-day total of 841, shattering the previous tournament record. Morgan captured individual medalist honors at both the Lady Paladin and the UNF Collegiate during the 2022 season. She was named to the All-SoCon team, along with Sophia Burnett and Sarah-Eve Rhéaume.
In her first season at Furman, the 2021 season was shortened, with the Paladins playing only in the spring. Furman had an unprecedented three players qualify as individuals for the NCAA Simpsonville Regional, where Anna Morgan, the 2021 SoCon Freshman of the Year, led the team with a 16th-place finish. Sarah-Eve Rhéaume won individual medalist honors at the SoCon Championships, and the Paladins finished as runners-up. Morgan, Rhéaume, and Madison Moosa represented Furman on the All-SoCon team.
Prior to her time at Furman, Meek spent two seasons as the assistant coach at Long Beach State, where she helped the Beach to the 2019 Big West team and individual titles and an appearance at the NCAA regionals. During her time at Long Beach State, Meek assisted with player development, team travel, recruiting, and hosting events.
A four-year letter winner at UNLV, Meek led the Rebels to three-consecutive Mountain West titles and finished as individual runner up at the 2018 league championship. A two-time first team All-Mountain West selection, she claimed individual medalist honors on three different occasions and earned Mountain West Academic All-Conference accolades each of her four seasons.
A native of Palm Desert, Calif., Meek earned a bachelor's degree in communication studies with a minor in journalism from UNLV in 2018.
